The Response
Rotating Season - NoMore!
ICRH is now able to move away from the rotating shelter model where a different church hosted our guests for overnight stays each week. With our new, permanent shelter, ICRH guests are now able to stay put and have their own bed at ICRH and not rotate between the ICRH day shelter and where they were sleeping at the host site. Local churches and partners now focus on providing the evening meal, visiting with our guests and assisting ICRH staff as needed. Many volunteers are still needed throughout the day and evening to provide a safe and comfortable environment.
At our new location, all guests needs can be provided for: meals, laundry capabilities, shower facilities, computer access, Wi-Fi, locked storage for personal items, a play area for children, use of our address to receive mail, and more. Please see below for the full list of services we offer here at ICRH.

Summer Season
In the summer months, ICRH continues to address the needs of homeless members of our community at our day shelter. The day shelter hours are 11:00am to 3:00pm Monday - Friday. During the summer season, we provide lunch on a first-come, first-serve basis, laundry capabilities, shower facilities, computer access, Wi-Fi, locked storage for personal items, a play area for children, use of our address to receive mail, a safe place to access for the day, and case management services on the days that the shelter is open. No referral is required for the summer services.

The Need
Largely invisible to most citizens, the need for shelter and connection to community resources in Isabella County is very real.
